Press Releases and Why You Should Be Using Them

Erik, Mr. Ideal Client, has a unique business that has a lot of appeal to journalists. But even if you don't have a product or service with that kind of universal appeal, you should be writing up Press Releases and posting them on one of the many press release services, such as www.PRWeb.com.

This is one of the many Internet marketing topics we will cover on the radio show. Joan Stewart, a.k.a. The Publicity Hound, will be our guest speaker on this topic soon.

This is an example of what we mean by our title "Blogging and Beyond"...

Press Release: The Blog Squad™ Reveals How to Attract, Sell and Profit Online

(PRWeb) January 10, 2007 -- The Blog Squad™ kicks off their Internet radio show "Blogging and Beyond" on Modavox's VoiceAmerica™ Channel (http://www.voice.voiceamerica.com/) on Thursday, January 11, at 11 a.m. ET. The show focuses on how to take a business online and create a strong Internet marketing presence.

Their first show, titled "Blogging Isn't IT!" reveals why a great blog isn't enough. Blog Squad™ experts Patsi Krakoff, Psy. D., and Denise Wakeman show listeners and coach their ideal client live on the air on how to use simple online systems for Internet marketing.

Their ideal client, Erik Feder, won the readers' popular vote on The Blog Squad's interactive site www.BloggingandBeyond.com. He is author and publisher of a series of books on where to find parking in Manhattan and other major cities (www.wheretofindparking.com).

The Radio Show & The Mentor Program: What's the Difference?

Several people have asked how the radio show Blogging and Beyond on VoiceAmerica channel differs from and ties in with the Blogging and Beyond Mentor Program.

The show is in the morning on Thursdays, followed by a private, for-fee mentor group later in the day/evening. While the show will deliver information about Internet marketing and blogs in an entertaining fashion (we hope!), the mentor group will be more specific about what steps to take and how to take them.

The show will also feature guest experts who will talk about their niche areas that are important to you for your own marketing on the Internet. And, a big feature of the show, will be the segment working with our Ideal Client, Erik Feder, to improve his business online.

During the mentor group sessions, we will explore in more detail each Internet marketing tool: a database management system, blogs, ezines, autoresponders. This is a work group, and the goal is for all participants to make significant progress towards having an online marketing system that works to bring in more clients and results.

The members of the mentor program will have access to a private website where a ton of resources will be posted, including audio and video tutorials. This is a great way to learn how to put your business online effectively, for a low fee.

One of the best features of the mentor program, in my opinion, will be the discussion forum where members can post their challenges, and get input from others. The people who have enrolled are an amazing group of professionals from a wide variety of businesses, all with similar challenges.

We hope to unleash the Wisdom of this little Crowd!
