Multimedia is the way to attract more clients

Internet Audio & Video for the Rest of Us
(33:15 min)

Blogging and Beyond with The Blog Squad, Patsi Krakoff, Psy. D., and Denise Wakeman
With Guest Expert: Mike Stewart, www.InternetAudioGuy.com

Mike Stewart shared his enthusiasm and passion about multimedia blogging with the Blogging and Beyond audience. In his opinion, having a blog and using text, audio and video is the fastest way to build an audience in a niche.  You can also convey more information fast about who you are, what you do and how you serve clients.

Video doesn't have to be totally professional. Audiences are very forgiving as long as the content has value. Check out the Flip Video Camcorder for a one button, super simple way to record and post video to the web.

YouTube: There's no end to what you can do for your business

"YouTube for Business: How You Can Profit"

Blogging and Beyond with The Blog Squad, Patsi Krakoff, Psy. D., and Denise Wakeman
With Guest Expert: Michael Miller, author of YouTube 4 You
(29:55 min)

This week we spoke with Michael Miller, a popular writer and commentator on technology topics, about YouTube. What really hit home is how easy it can be to add video to your site. Depending on the level of quality you want, it can be as simple as recording your message or product demo with a web cam, uploading it to YouTube, then posting a link on your blog or website.  Even I can do that!

Hosting video files can take a lot of bandwidth, but using a free service like YouTube helps you offset that cost. Plus if you have a PC with Windows, then you have Windows Movie Maker software which really is as simple as cut and paste for editing.

Make sure your videos are informative AND entertaining in order to drive word of mouth.
