In our previous post we announced that Erik Feder, our Ideal Client, was going to be on the Today Show on Jan. 16 to talk about his site Wheretofindparking.com. Unfortunately, that appearance has been postponed. But...he's managed to get a heck of a lot of other PR in the last two days. Here's a note he sent to us:
As these things go, The Today Show has postponed my appearance. They say that they definitely want to a segment with me in the future. It's unfortunate, but not at all unheard of in the TV world.
On the brighter side, the article in The NY Daily News did run yesterday and because of that I got calls from Fox-TV News and CBS-AM Radio News. I ran into the city and Fox shot the interview which ran on the 6pm & 10pm nightly news. I did the CBS interview by phone and that ran hourly from 6pm-4am last night as well. Response has been really good. I'll also be shooting a segment with the Ch.11 morning news next week.
I think we should do an interview with Erik about how to get publicity!
Yes, unfortunately the Today Show appearance was postponed, although they say they hope to do something in the future - especially when we are able to add more cities to our www.WhereToFindParking.com website. We pan to add Boston in the next couple of months and then other cities after that.
I do have some more good news, though: I've been booked to shoot a segment tomorrow (Wednesday - 1/17/07) with ABC Eyewitness News. Let's hope that this one doesn't get postponed! :-)
